East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) offers a double dose of fun summertime with two festivals on Sunday June 2, 2013. From 11:00, Philly beer week starts with 15 hours of events of craft beers during the day of craft beers.
Retailers, bars and restaurants of East Passyunk will present opportunities to meet Brewers, trying new beers, enjoy food beer infused and inspired and buy gifts related to beer. Starting at noon, Italian National Day Festival "La Festa Della Repubblica" will feature a full day of live music, Italian project and promotions of beer bottle, Italian food vendors, kids activities and a spaghetti-eating contest.
The Festa activities are taking place on East Passyunk Avenue, between Mifflin and Moore streets. Events are held rain or shine. Entry is free, except where noted. BANa Hydration Drink Becoming a “Must Have” For Parents
Dehydration in children is a major concern during the summer months. For years, doctors have prescribed an oral solution to rehydrate. But Dr. Benjamin Yoo, an ER Doctor in South Carolina, wasn’t pleased with the solutions that were available.
