East Passyunk Avenue celebrates week of Philly beer with beers

East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) offers a double dose of fun summertime with two festivals on Sunday June 2, 2013.  From 11:00, Philly beer week starts with 15 hours of events of craft beers during the day of craft beers.

Retailers, bars and restaurants of East Passyunk will present opportunities to meet Brewers, trying new beers, enjoy food beer infused and inspired and buy gifts related to beer.  Starting at noon, Italian National Day Festival "La Festa Della Repubblica" will feature a full day of live music, Italian project and promotions of beer bottle, Italian food vendors, kids activities and a spaghetti-eating contest.

The Festa activities are taking place on East Passyunk Avenue, between Mifflin and Moore streets.  Events are held rain or shine.  Entry is free, except where noted. THE FESTA - FESTEGGIAMO!

Filitalia International and the Foundation presents Italian National Day Festival "Festa Della Repubblica", East Passyunk Avenue, between Mifflin and Moore streets.  Family-friendly festivities will include live music, raffles and prices, sellers special cocktails (from including East Passyunk Mamma Maria), Italian food, Italian and project special beer bottle, a spaghetti contest eaters.

Activities for children will include a moon bounce and makeup.  Publishers and authors confirmed includes Restaurant black, Mamma Maria, The Bottle Shop, Stogie Joes, Candy Rockz Jewelry, pieces of Capo and souvenirs, Gozen yogurt, Twin Shoppe, Lil Dan and more.  Ms. Goody Cupcake will also feature an open day with fifty cents out of cupcakes. Eat, Drink and Be Merry with Santa during East Passyunk Avenue Bar Crawl

This year, St. Nick is getting his jolly on with seasonal craft beer and merry cocktails during “Spirits & Suds with Santa Bar Crawl,” on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, from 5:30pm to 10:00pm. Admission includes $3 seasonal craft beers, $4 merry cocktails and discounted snacks (select locations), a Santa or Elf hat, and a Santa’s Sipping Stamp Card. Stamps are earned by purchasing a drink or food item at 12 bars and restaurants along East Passyunk Avenue. Collect five or more stamps to be entered to win a gift certificate prize package worth $300.00.
