Z'Tejas ' Chile Fest benefit the blind children's Learning Center

Z'Tejas Southwest Grill is South Coast Plaza is launching an annual tribute to the famous Chile Fest, Hatch, New Mexico Festivals 3. September-September 16, and $ 1 for each of the main course out of a special menu for the blind children will benefit from the Learning Center.  Executive Chef Daniel Stevens says Chile Fest is a celebration of fruit (internal, edible seeds, fruit and vegetables to be it) to the versatile role in the culinary world.  For each Chile Fest menu item in the menu, desserts and cocktails include a variety of Chile pepper.

The destinations are Tamarind chicken salad with Sweet Pickles hatch Chiles; Roasted hatch New Mexico Chiles stuffed with seared beef tenderloin, jack cheese and caramelized onions and topped with chipotle corn relish; Herb hatch Chili glazed Mahi Mahi; Pork Medallion sliders served with jalapeno roll and topped with Green Chile New Mexico chimichurri and the pineapple slaw.  Featured dessert is the hatch Chile-chocolate ice cream with fresh berries and whipped cream and cocktails in a smokin' Margarita (Herradura Anejo, DeKuyper Peach, Grand Marnier, fresh lemon juice, agave, and "added kick") and Z'Smash (Herradura Anejo, fresh oranges, fresh lemons, mint and agave nectar).
